Dr. Karne taught a variety of courses in his tenure at Towson Unviersity. His teaching experience covers undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral level courses and independent studies. Some of these courses include operating systems, database management systems, computer architecture, data mining, CS1 and CS2, Systems programming including C and Assembly, and independent studies. He also supervised 19 Ph.D. dissertations and 65 graduate projects. In additon, he co-supervised 8 Ph.D. students with Dr. Wijesinha.
